Minico was built in 1985 at Porsius Holland shipyard to very high standards she was specifically designed for the owner to circumnavigate in sheer luxury. She had a major refitting in 2005 and then again in 2011 and has had a professional captain since new. The Albaran Pilothouse design makes her ideal for wet weather sailing and provides a nice reprieve from the heat in the tropics being fully air conditioned. Offering three guest cabins all with ensuites and two crew she is extremely comfortable. The well-equipped galley is midships on the port side a few steps down from the pilothouse further fwd is the accommodation. She has long range capabilities and is powered by a MTU 230hp shaft drive diesel and a 25kw genset to power the systems on board.
